IIM Kozhikode Admission Process 2023: 

For the IIM Kozhikode flagship course, i.e., PGP (or MBA) admission, candidates with a valid CAT score that matches the cutoff for admission are selected and allocated a seat. Candidates must finish the CAT application process and sit for the exam. For other courses, applications can be directly submitted through the official website of the institute. Students must carefully check the eligibility conditions of each course before filling out the application form.
Here is a step-by step process that goes into IIM Kozhikode Admissions 2023 -

Step 1: Start with Application Process 

Visit the official website of IIM Kozhikode and submit an application form that is properly filled out and includes the application fee if you want to be considered for admission to IIM Kozhikode. However, prior to applying, students should have complied with the institute’s basic course-specific eligibility requirements. Note that IIMK accepts applications only online. Fill your application forms with your personal details as authentically as possible. Give your work experience and academic details in the same form, submit all the required documents and lastly pay the application fee in order to confirm the registration.

Step 2: Personal Interviews with Selected Candidates

Students are shortlisted by the Management Institute for subsequent rounds of selection based on their academic records, CAT qualifying scores, and CAT final cutoffs. The students who have been shortlisted must show up for a personal interview. Based on how well applicants performed during the selection rounds, a commutative score is then determined. Candidates who match the eligibility requirements for the other courses must also go through the institute-specific selection process in order to be shortlisted. 

Step 3: Final Merit List

After the selection processes, IIM Kozhikode provides a category-by-category merit list. Candidates for admission are those who make the merit list. By paying the course admission fee, the chosen candidates can further secure their spots.

Admission Criteria:

  • PGP: Admission to this course is on the basis of CAT score, Written Ability Test, and Interview.
  • EPGP: Admission to this course is on the basis of EMAT/CAT/GMAT score followed by Interview.
  • FPM: Admission to this course is on the basis of CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC JRF score followed by Interview.
  • EPGC: Admission to this course is on the basis of Academic Performance, Work Experience, and Interview.

Documents required are mentioned below:

  • Two copies of the duly signed application form.
  • Online fee receipt copy.
  • One passport size photograph (write your name and registration number on the back side).
  • Mark sheet and certificate (Self-attested).
  • CAT or GMAT scorecard.
  • Copies of Photo identity proof, work experience, Employee ID Card, Category/ Relaxation Certificate (Self-attested).

College has excellent infrastructure and accomodation facilities too. Scholarships will be offered too.

Selection Procedure: Basic eligibility for admission into the college is 50% of marks scored in a recognised institution and then CAT is the test that is to be written and should get cut off marks if one is in the cutoff and they will be called for an interview for which marks will be awarded and then a group discussion will also be held, on passing all the above tests one will be given admission into the institution.
