IIT Hyderabad accepts an online mode of application and the Admission Procedure of the institute is based on the national and state-level entrance examinations conducted. The Application Procedure must be completed online by visiting the official website of the institute. The candidates must register themselves by visiting the institute’s official website.

IIT Hyderabad B.Tech Admissions

Candidates for the IIT Hyderabad admission to the B.Tech program must have received at least 75 percent of the possible points in their 10+2 exams or a ranking in the top 20 percentile. Candidates from the SC/ST category who are pursuing admission to IIT Hyderabad will be given a significant relaxation of 10% of the eligibility requirements.  Candidates must first apply for JEE Main and then JEE Advanced to be admitted to B.Tech. and B.Tech+M.Tech. programmes.
