IIT Madras B.Tech Admission 2024-25
IIT Madras provides the B.Tech program through regular mode in ten different specializations with a minimum duration of 4 years. The total fee for the program is INR 2.84 Lakhs. Popular specializations in the program include Aerospace, Computer Science &, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering. Further information regarding eligibility and selection can be found below. To be eligible for IIT Madras’ B.Tech program, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics as main subjects and obtained at least 75% marks in aggregate or equivalent. Selection for the program is based on the JEE Advanced entrance exam scores, followed by the JoSAA counseling process. The application procedure for undergraduate courses:
- Visit the JEE Main official website.
- At the home page click on the apply link.
- Register yourself with a valid mobile number and e-mail address.
- Read all the information carefully on the information bulletin.
- click on ``Proceed’’ tab.
- Fill in all the necessary details.
- Scanned copies of the following documents need to be uploaded: signature, thumb impression, and photographs.
- The application fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Cards or e-challan. The application fee is INR 1000 and INR 500 for Girls.
