The JEE Main Registration window for the session 2 exam is already open, and the deadline to apply is March 2, 2024. The JEE Main Session 2 test will be given between April 4 and 15, 2024. Additionally, the JEE Main Session 2 results will be revealed on April 25, 2024.
About NIT Delhi: The National Institute of Technology Delhi, also known as NIT Delhi, was established in the academic year of 2010. It is an institute of national importance and an autonomous university. How NIT Fee structure is Determined?
The NIT Council decides the 4 year BTech NIT tuition after consulting with the MHRD. The NIT price structure for BTech is determined after considering a number of factors. The components listed below are taken into account while calculating the NIT fee structure.
- In accordance with recommendations from the higher education department, the NIT Council and the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) determined NIT fees for the four-year BTech program.
- The areas for which costs must be calculated are taken into consideration while choosing the charge structure. Fees are less for candidates in the reserved category than for those in the general category.
- A percentage of the expenses, such as the cost of the dorm (Hostel) or the mess charge, varies for each NIT and is set by that institution.

NIT Delhi Scholarships
NIT Delhi Scholarships are mentioned below:
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Awarded to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and financial need. To apply students must submit an application form along with necessary documents. The application form and the list of required documents are usually available on the website of NIT Delhi.
- National Scholarships: Awarded to students by the Government of India (GoI) who have scored proficient in their qualifying exams.
- State Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded by the state governments to students who have scored in their qualifying exams.
- Company-sponsored Scholarships: Awarded by companies to students who have scored well in their qualifying exams and who are selected for internship or placement programs in respective companies.

NIT Scholarship Eligibility
The candidate’s category and family income determine their eligibility for NIT fee assistance. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST/PwD categories are excused from paying tuition, according to the NIT pricing structure for 2023. Candidates from the General/OBC category who hail from families with an annual income of less than INR 1 lakh are also exempt from paying tuition. Candidates from the General/OBC categories who hail from families with an annual income between INR 1 lakh and INR 5 lakh must pay a third of the tuition. Candidates from the General/OBC categories must pay the full tuition fees if their family’s yearly income exceeds INR 5 lakh.
Candidates must present their caste and family income certificate from the State Government at the time of admission to be eligible for the NIT fee benefits.
