Symbiosis Institute of Business Management admission is based on the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test). To apply, please follow the steps outlined below:
Complete the online registration form.
- Pay for the SET as well as the institute (SIBM NOIDA).
- SCMS NOIDA Online Payment: Account information is available on the application form via Net Banking.
- Offline Payment for SCMS NOIDA: To the Institute, send a Demand Draft in the name of "Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies" payable in NOIDA. If you pay by Demand Draft, please write your name and the SET ID number on the reverse of the draft.
- Print the Admit Card to appear in the SET.
- Please include all supporting documentation.
- Attend the SET Exam.
- Shortlisting is done on the basis of merit. If selected by SCMS NOIDA, the candidate must undergo the institute’s Personal Interaction & Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) procedure.
- Attend the PI-WAT procedure at the time and date specified in the call letter. The candidate must provide the papers listed in the call letter.

The scholarship rules listed below are part of the Symbiosis Society Foundation’s Scholarship Policy for Symbiosis International University undergraduate students. The following are the eligibility requirements.
- According to the amended policy, the semester topper would get a scholarship based on academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 8.50.
- The UG scholarship is awarded to deserving students based on their previous academic performance and the absence of any backlog.
- There is no financial restriction for parents of students eligible for scholarships.
- If a student is qualified for more than one scholarship, he or she will receive just one scholarship of their choosing.
The following are the scholarship selection criteria:
- Every year, the merit scholarship is announced. If a student declines or cancels his or her admission, the money is returned to the university and is not transferred to another student.
- The scholarship money will be handed to the Institute rather than the student. The amount will be adjusted following the academic charge.
The Scholarship Tiebreaker
- If the GPA/CGPA of two or more students is the same, the weighted average scores for courses 10 and 12 will be used to break the tie for the Semester 1 scholarship.
Scholarship Withdrawal
- If a merit scholarship winner is found guilty of gross misbehavior after receiving enough warning, the award will be revoked. However, the ultimate decision will be made by the Symbiosis Society Foundation’s Advisory Committee.
