The CAT cut off is the minimum score or percentile a test taker must achieve to advance to the next exam round. The CAT percentile is taken into account by several management institutes throughout India while selecting applicants for admission. The IIMs have established themselves as India's top institutions for management and research education.
The Indian Institutes of Management, or IIMs, will publish their unique CAT cut-offs for 2022 after the release of the CAT result in order to shortlist applicants for the WAT, GD, and PI admission procedures that follow. The CAT cutoff is the minimal percentile needed to be chosen for the admissions process. The results of the CAT 2022 test will likely be made public by the organization in charge of administering it around the second week of January 2023. A score will be released as the result.
The ultimate CAT cut off for 2022 would be at least a 90% for admission into any IIM or top MBA institutions in India. The CAT cut offs for prestigious IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Kozhikode are still high (99+ percentile). The CAT cut offs are frequently set at the 60 percentile and above in Tier 3 institutions and at the 80 percentile and higher in Tier 2 colleges. The cut offs for CAT 2022 are expected to be in the same range for these colleges.
When the CAT Results are announced, the candidates willing to take admission in top MBA colleges must go through their Cut Off Trends
After two months of the exam's planned date, the CAT Cut off will be made public. The CAT for this year is set on November 27. So, it is anticipated that the cut off and results would be made public in January 2023. The measures to take in order to get the official cut-off are listed below.
Step 1: Visit the "CAT 2022" official website.
Step 2: Choose "CAT Cut Off 2022."
Step 3: Check the cutoff scores for the section and category to which you belong.
Every year, a variety of circumstances influence the cutoff. Some of the guidelines that impact the CAT Cut Off 2022 are listed below:
Number of Applicants: The cutoff value increases as the number of applicants increases.
Exam Difficulty: The cut-offs are often low for tough exams; on the other hand, they are projected to be higher for simple to moderately difficult exams.
Seats: The number of seats that are accessible for admission purposes.
