Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is one of the biggest Government organizations in India with over 2048 branches. Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant Administrative Officers are required to check the LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria to find out about their academic eligibility and age rules. LIC has released the official notification recently. According to the LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria, applicants, in order to qualify for the exam, must be in the middle of 21 to 30 years. Academic Qualification

  • Applicants applying for the exam must be in possession of  a Bachelor/Master's Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution

LIC AAO – Other Features

Payments and Benefits:

  • Essential pay of Rs. 17240/ - every month in the reference to the scale of Rs. 17240-840(14) – 29000– 910(4) – 32640 (Soon to be revised) and other acceptable allowances will be given according to regulations.
  • Total payments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance and City Compensatory Allowances will be provided dependent upon the city classification. The remuneration will be around Rs 40,245/ - every month in 'A' Class city.
  • Benefits that will be given to the applicants are Defined Contributory Pension, Special Allowance for passing Actuarial Examination, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit and lot others.
  • Service Regulations: Service Conditions are as pertinent in LIC every now and then. The chose applicants, on the arrangement, are obligated to be posted or thusly moved anyplace in India.
  • Probationary Period: Candidates will be for a probationary period of one year, extendable up to 2 years.
  • Guarantee Bond: Before joining as a Probationer, candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve LIC for a base time of four years from the date of joining (counting trial period) on completion of which, he/she or his/her beneficiaries, agents, directors will be liable to pay liquidation charges of Rs.200,000/ - just (Rupees Two Lakhs just) The candidate would have to submit a Deed of Indemnity at personal cost, appropriately stamped, the stamp estimation of which will be as in accordance to the State in which the deed is executed by the applying candidate.
