SET Eligibility criteria discusses the different conditions which the applicants need to satisfy to apply for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) that is directed by Symbiosis International University. SET is undertaken for determining admissions for undergraduates to various courses at Symbiosis Campuses. Under the qualification criteria of SET, candidates need to satisfy conditions identified with nationality, house, reservation of seats for various classifications, marks scored by aspirants in their 10+2 exam and the board from which they have passed their 10+2 examination. The point by point qualification criteria for SET is specified underneath in the article. 

Admission to B.Tech programs at SET is offered through the accompanying exams:

Indian

Mandatory to pass 10+2 with Physics, Maths and any of the below mentioned subjects:

Biology

Chemistry

Biotechnology

Technical Vocational Subject

45% for general category and 40% for SC/ST

Candidates scoring well in JEE Main/MH CET can apply, they would not have to appear for SET Examination

NRI/ Foreign nationals/PIO

Mandatory to pass 10+2 with Physics, Maths and any of the below mentioned subjects:

Biology

Chemistry

Biotechnology

Technical Vocational Subject

45% for general category and 40% for SC/ST

Candidates need not appear in JEE Main/MH CET can apply, they would not have to appear for SET Examination

International students can apply as per SCIE Norms.

SET Eligibility Criteria for students appearing in International Boards like IB/Cambridge

Board Subject Marks
IB

Candidates should have passed with Physics, Maths at a higher level

Candidates should be in possession of an IB Diploma.

Candidate should have scored a minimum of 24 credits.

Candidate should fulfil other relevant criteria for fulfilment of IB Diploma

A DP course certificate by IB would not qualify for equivalence

IGCSE Examination

Candidates seeking admission to different Btech courses who would be required to pass in a minimum of 5 subjects inclusive of English.

Candidates should have passed with Physics, Maths and Chemistry at a higher level and English at a basic level

Candidates should have scored A level in Physics, Chemistry and Maths

Candidates should have passed English at a normal level

The grades of the above mentioned Boards would be converted as per the associated unniversities.
