New Update About SSC CHSL 2020

IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

Some of the Section-wise strategies for the preparation of SSC CHSL are as follows:

General Intelligence

  1. Candidates are required to read across topics and subjects to have a conceptual understanding and have factual knowledge relating to the same.
  2. Sample Reasoning Questions practice would gain enough knowledge and the right kind of thinking approach to doing the section well.
  3. Time Management is a critical point that needs to be taken care of alongside routine practice.
  4. Practice would help students gain insights about their knowledge level in relevant topics and improve on those that are underperformed or are incorrect.

Quantitative

  1. The questions from the quantitative section would test the numerical ability of the candidates and their arithmetic sense.
  2. A quick referral note of formulae can be maintained to keep checking them on a regular basis in case of failure to recollect.
  3. They must identify their strong topics to know their strengths and accordingly maximize your performance on them.
  4. Reading questions right and noting down the values properly is also of equal importance.

General Awareness

  1. This is noted to be one of the easiest sections to score.
  2. Candidates are required to stay updated on happenings on a national and international level spanning a time frame of at least 6 months.
  3. Questions under this section are related to both Current and Static Affairs.
  4. Candidates should have an all-round knowledge of History, Geography, Politics, Economics, Science and Technology.
  5. Newspaper Reading should become a habit to improve one' s vocabulary.

English

  1. Practice Papers is the key to this section.
  2. Improve your reading speed.
  3. Practice writing essays and letters to do well in the exam.
