New Update About UPTET 2022
IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

UPTET Qualification Required for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5):
- Candidate must have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 (Intermediate).
- Candidates should have a graduation degree or should be studying in the final year Basic Training Certificate (BTC) from an institute affiliated to NCTE, or
- Candidates with a graduate degree or should be enrolled in the final year of D.Ed. (Specialization) in any institution affiliated to RCI, or
- Candidate completed graduation degree or candidate studying in the 2nd year of BTC (Urdu) or already completed from NCTE affiliated institute, or
- The candidate who has completed their graduation degree or those who currently enrolled in final year/completed Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University, or
- For Teaching Urdu, the candidate who have completed their graduation or those who are Moa'llim-e-Urdu degree holders from Aligarh Muslim University before August 11, 1997, are eligible. Also,
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in the final year of B.EL.ED can also apply.
UPTET Qualification Required for Secondary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)
- Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 (intermediate examination) or equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates who have completed their graduation degree or those who at present are studying in the 2nd year of BTC in an institute affiliated to NCTE, or
- Candidates who have completed their graduation or post-graduation degree with an aggregate of 50% marks or those who have passed or currently enrolled in 2nd year of B.Ed. in any institution affiliated to NCTE, or
- Candidates who have completed their graduation or post-graduation with the minimum of 50% marks or those who have passed/currently studying in 2nd year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE are eligible. Also,
- Candidates who have completed their graduation or post-graduation with the minimum of 50% marks or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of B.Ed. (Specialization) in an institute affiliated to RCI, or
- Candidates who have scored 50% marks in 10+2 and are currently studying in the final year or passed B.Ed. programme. Also,
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in the final year or passed B.S.C.Ed., or
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in the final year or passed B.EL.ED.
Age limit to apply for UPTET:
As per the guidelines of government, UPBEB has mandated certain age limit to apply for the UPTET, the age of the candidate applying for UPTET in that academic year is must be in between 18 to 35 Years. Candidates who belong to reserved categories (SC/ST) and candidates applying through physically disabled category have given age relaxation.

UPTET is held for recruiting teachers across Grades 1-5 and Grades 1-8. Candidates would be required to fulfill the following to in order to be eligible and apply for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The UPTET Eligibility Criteria is mentioned as below:
