About the Internship
Are you passionate about teaching and mathematics? Join us at Budding Mariners as a Maths Mentor intern and help shape the minds of future mariners! As a Maths Mentor intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, providing guidance and support in mathematics. Your role will involve utilizing your teaching skills to help students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts. Excellent English proficiency, both spoken and written, is a must, as effective communication is key in this role. Time management skills are essential to ensure that you are able to effectively support students while balancing other responsibilities.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students
2. Assist students in understanding mathematical concepts and solving problems
3. Create engaging and interactive lessons to enhance student learning
4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
5. Collaborate with other mentors to develop educational resources
6. Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
7. Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for the students to support your lessons.
