About Us
WCRT is a social impact initiative working on women and child rights, legal awareness, and advocacy campaigns to create impactful narratives, campaigns, and digital platforms that drive change.
This internship is designed for Public Relations & Journalism students eager to gain hands-on exposure in advocacy, storytelling, campaign building, and event planning.
 
Key Responsibilities
I. Content Writing & Journalism
·      Draft press releases, feature stories, op-eds, and blog posts on women & child rights issues.
·      Assist in creating case studies, interviews, and advocacy reports.
·      Prepare social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) for public engagement.
II. Public Relations & Communication
·      Engage with journalists, editors, and media houses for coverage opportunities.
·      Support in stakeholder communication and trust-related public updates.
·      Draft newsletters, brochures, and advocacy campaign content.
III. Event Planning & Campaign Management
·      Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and awareness drives.
·      Handle logistics, media coverage, and post-event reporting.
·      Create event proposals, campaign calendars, and communication strategies.
IV. Tech & AI-Driven Efficiency
·      Use ChatGPT, Jasper, Notion, Perplexity for drafting, brainstorming, and campaign monitoring.
·      Maintain media archives, content dashboards, and event trackers.
 
Who You Are
·      Student of Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Media Studies.
·      Strong writing, editing, and creative communication skills.
·      Interested in social impact, advocacy, and rights-based campaigns.
·      Tech-friendly, familiar with MS Office, Canva, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
·      Team player with event planning or PR experience (academic or project-based).
 
Internship Details
·      Duration: 6 Months (Unpaid)
·      Certificate: Internship Certificate on completion
·      Exposure: Hands-on experience in content creation, PR strategy, journalism writing, event planning, and advocacy campaigns.
