About the Internship
We are looking for a Project Management Intern to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, hands-on knowledge of Jira, and the ability to document everything with precision. This role also requires involvement in Sprint Planning and ensuring project tasks meet deadlines.Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and tracking project progress.
2. Participate in Sprint Planning sessions and help define clear deliverables for each sprint.
3. Document all project activities, including meeting notes, sprint backlogs, timelines, and client communications.
4. Use Jira (or other project management tools) to assign tasks, monitor workflows, and track sprint progress.
5. Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met by coordinating with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
6. Create and maintain detailed project reports, dashboards, and status updates.
7. Support in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.
8. Identify risks, blockers, and escalate them to the management team in time.
9. Contribute ideas to improve project planning, sprint execution, and documentation standards.
