About the Internship
A UI/UX intern assists the design team by creating user-friendly interfaces through tasks like wireframing, prototyping, conducting user research, participating in usability testing, and developing visual design elements, all while learning the fundamentals of user experience design under the guidance of senior designers.Key responsibilities may include:
User Research:
Supporting in conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights about user needs and pain points.
Information Architecture:
Assisting in creating sitemaps and user flows to map out the structure and navigation of a product.
Wireframing and Prototyping:
Designing low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize user interfaces and interactions.
Visual Design:
Creating visual elements like color palettes, typography, and iconography to ensure a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design.
Design Iteration:
Collaborating with the design team to refine designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
Design Documentation:
Creating design specifications and style guides to ensure consistency across the product.
Design Tools Proficiency:
Learning and utilizing design software like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision to create prototypes and design assets.
Desired skills and qualifications:
