IIM Calcutta successfully concluded CAT 2024 on 24th November 2024 as an online computer-based test (CBT) across 170 different cities in India. The CAT exam is conducted for admission to MBA programs in the top 21 IIMs and 1300 other top b-schools. This year 3 lakh plus candidates have registered for the exam. Candidates can follow this page for all the live updates of the upcoming CAT exam.
The CAT exam was conducted in 400 designated test centres, across three slots namely slot 1,2 and 3. The CAT exam was conducted for a duration of 2 hours with 68 MCQ and Non-MCQ questions. Each section is allotted 40 minutes and the candidates must complete the three sections in the designated order only. the CAT exam is conducted in 3 different slots, first session being held from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., followed by the next session at 12.30 p.m., and the last session at 4.30 p.m.
It is important for candidates to reach the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the CAT 2024 admit card for smooth flow of identification process:

How to check CAT Answer Key 2024?
The CAT 2024 Answer Sheet is expected to be out by November 30, 2024. It will be released on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Below are the steps to check the response sheet of CAT 2024 Exam:
Visit the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in.
Click on the 'login' tab.
Enter your CAT Login ID and Password.
CAT 2024 Answer Key will appear on the screen.
Download the answer key and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Students' Reaction and Memory Based Question Paper of CAT Exam Slot 1
Students' reaction to the the difficulty level of CAT question paper varied. Overall, the CAT exam 2024 slot 1 was moderately difficult. Some of the questions from VARC were complex and took more time than expected. DILR came out as the easiest section while Quantitative Aptitude questions were as usual a little difficult to solve in the given time. Most questions from arithmetic consumed unexpected time.
