The MAT Exam 2024 CBT 1 will be conducted Today i.e. December 7, 2024 across 14 exam centres in India. The MAT exam is a national-level examination conducted for admission to MBA courses in over 800+ top-notch B-Schools. The exam is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in four phases - February, May, August, and December. Candidates can follow this page for all the live updates of the upcoming MAT exam.

The MAT exam was conducted for a duration of 2 hours with 150 MCQ questions. Each section has 30 questions and the candidates must complete the three sections in the designated time only. The MAT PBT exam will be held on 14th December, and the registration for the same will be ending by 5 p.m. today, (7th December 2024). The MAT CBT 2 exam will be conducted on 22nd December 2024.

Questions in MAT 2024 CBT 1

There are total 150 questions in MAT exam CBT 1. These 150 questions are further divided into 5 sections. There are 30 questions in each section with each question carrying 1 mark. Any incorrect answer will lead to a negative marking of 0.25 marks. There will be no marks deducted for unanswered questions.

MAT Exam Marking Scheme

The question paper of MAT exam is divided into 5 sections. There are total 150 questions to be completed in 2 hours. Below is the marking scheme of the MAT question paper: 
  • Candidates will be awarded with +1 marks for each correct answer. 
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. 
  • 0 marks will be awarded for unanswered questions. (There will be no negative marking)

The exam pattern of MAT exam 2024 consists of 5 sections. These sections are language comprehension, data analysis and sufficiency, mathematical skills, intelligence & critical reasoning, and economic and business environment. Candidates appearing for PBT and CBT 2 must be aware of these five sections.

MAT 2024 CBT 1 Will Be Conducted Today

MAT Exam 2024 CBT 1 will be conducted today from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The duration of the exam is 2.5 hours and students are advised to reach their allotted test centres by 9:00 AM.
