The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai has now come up with the new counselling date for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 second round. According to the newly revised schedule, the online registration link for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 will be closed on 17 Dec, a day more than before 16 Dec as per its earlier date sheet. Only candidates who have names on merit list will be eligible for a start from the date, 17 December. Candidate's last date to freeze their choices has been slated for 18 December.
It cautions the candidates that in case the candidates fail to lock their choices by 10:00 AM on December 18, the choices will get locked automatically. For candidates who were allotted seats in round 1 and wish to opt for re-allotment in round 2, their round 1 seat will be shown as a virtual vacancy in round 2. Other candidates may lock choices for this virtual seat, which will only be allotted if the original round 1 candidate vacates it.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG: Counselling registration fee
The candidates will need to make a payment of Rs 1,000 in terms of registration fees non-refundable while taking part in the choice filling process for DNB courses under government quota. Those candidates also have to pay who did not previously pay security deposit, as the required amount is Government Medical Colleges and Institutions, that amounts to Rs 30,000.
Tamil Nadu NEET PG: Seat Allotment Dates
The seat allotment reporting dates remain the same as scheduled. The Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 round 2 seat allotment result is to be declared on December 19, and the seat allotment letter download date is up to December 28. The shortlisted candidates have to report to the allotted colleges by December 28.
