For courses available at Galgotias University, admission is solely based on merit. Before applying, candidates are urged to review the eligibility requirements. They have the option of applying offline or online. The steps for registering are listed below:
Online Mode:
- Go to the university’s official website at https://www.galgotiasuniversity.edu.in.
- On the homepage, select the ’Apply Online’ link. Complete the online application form.
- Click the "Submit" button after correctly filling out the form. The ’Axis Bank payment gateway’ will be the next destination.Â
- Use your debit or credit card to pay the application fee.Â
- If the application is accepted, the system will produce a special ID for the applicant. An email or text message will be issued to you to confirm your registration.Â
Offline Mode:
The Galgotias University’s admission office is located in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, at Plot No. 2, Sector 17-A, Yamuna Motorway. After completing out the form, they can pay the registration costs in cash or by cheque payable to "Galgotias University." An inquiry number will be given to the candidate after they register. The University will publish a merit list of all enrolled students who meet the basic requirements.
Selection Procedure:
Galgotias University offers admission based on the merit obtained in the qualification exam and university-level entrance test. The tests taken for all courses are listed below:
- Students are admitted to B.Tech programs based on their JEE Mains and UPSEE scores.Â
- The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score is accepted for the B.Arch program. They must receive at least 80 out of a possible 200 points.
- Students who want to get admitted to MBA programs must have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT score.Â
- The candidate’s performance in the University-conducted All India Entrance Test determines whether they are admitted to the LL.M. program.
- The university gives admission to other courses on a student’s performance on the prerequisite exam.Â
- Once all of the documents have been validated, admission is given.Â

Galgotias University: Merit-based Scholarships
The following is used to determine eligibility for the scholarship:
- Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/Aptitude Test for 10+2 or Graduation
- Candidates with outstanding abilities in the performing arts, sports, or literature.
Galgotias University: Amount of Scholarships
- 100% of tuition is waived for first-place finishers across all boards and universities.
- 50% of tuition fees are waived as a scholarship for students who get a rank of up to 4000 in the IIT/JEE Exam.
- Students who receive a scholarship and place up to 100th in the AIEEE Examination will have 50% of their tuition fees waived.
- Students who receive a scholarship and place up to 100th in the UPSEE Examination will have 50% of their tuition fees waived.
- Students who earn at least 93% overall/PCM in class 12 or 80% on their graduation exams are eligible for a scholarship that waives 25% of their tuition.
- 20% of tuition fees will be waived as a scholarship for students who place up to the top 5000 in the AIEEE exam, score at least 70% in the CAT, or achieve over 700 in the MAT.
- 50% of tuition fees are waived as a scholarship for students who have won gold or silver medals in athletics at the national or state levels, or who have made some outstanding artistic achievements.
