  • Hostel security fee is refundable for AC as well as Non AC rooms. The amount that students must pay as security fee is INR 10, 000 and INR 20,000 for Non AC and AC rooms.
  • The amount mentioned here also includes Mess Charges.
  • Every hosteller is provided with laundry services as complementary service and each student is provided with an extent of 20 washed of up to 5 Kgs load each time.
  • The machines used here are world class fully automatic laundry machines.
  • The fees mentioned here are applicable per person per annum.
  • Hostel fee stands applicable from 1st August to 31st May of every year.
  • Boys of first year are allocated only Vivekananda & Vardhman hostel and Girls of 1st year are allocated only Sarojini and Mandela girls' hostels.

Minimum Eligibility

The eligibility for various branches of M. Tech program varies from one another. Below is the eligibility required:

M. Tech

Eligibility

Biotechnology
  • B.Tech. in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engg., B.Pharma with minimum 60% marks.
  • M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Agriculture, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Medicinal Chemistry) with minimum 60% marks. GATE/NET qualified students shall be preferred.

Civil Engineering
  • B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engg. with minimum 60% marks.
  • GATE/NET Qualified students shall be preferred.
  • (B. Tech in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Energy & Engineering/M.Sc. in Environment with minimum 60% for Environmental Engineering.)

Computer Science & Engineering
  • B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation and Electrical & Electronics with minimum 60% marks
  • MCA/MSc (Computer Sc.)/M.Sc. Mathematics with minimum 60% marks.
  • GATE/NET qualified students will be preferred

 

Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • B. E./ B. Tech in Electronics, E&C, E&E, E&I, E&TC with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
  • M. Sc. In Physics, Electronics, with minimum 60% marks.

Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • B.Tech./B.E in Electronics, E&C, E&E, E&I, E&TC with minimum 60% marks
  • M.Sc. in Physics, Electronics with minimum 60% marks.
  • GATE/NET Qualified students shall be preferred.

Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(Engg.) in Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, Electrical, Metallurgy, Materials Technology & Civil Engg. with minimum 60% marks
  • GATE/NET Qualified students shall be preferred.

Cryptology and Cyber Security
  • Minimum 60 % marks in Master Degree in Science in Physics/Mathematical Sciences (Mathematics, statistics and Operation Research)/Computer Science/Information Technology or B.Tech. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical and electronics Engineering or Master in Computer Application
