New Update About GPAT 2020

IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the exam directing body will be conducting the GPAT Application Procedure in the month of October. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) will be conducted on January all over 58 cities in India. Admissions in Pharmacy courses would be given to qualified eligible on the basis of their performance in the exam. It becomes very important for candidates to know the detailed GPAT exam pattern to have a fair idea of the same. Test-takers can have an idea of the GPAT exam pattern 2020 including mode of exam, the number of questions, types of questions, maximum marks, marking scheme, test duration and more on the GPAT Exam.

The characteristics of the GPAT exam pattern is as follows:

  • Exam Mode – Online
  • Exam Timing – 3 hours (2.30 PM to 5.30 PM)
  • Total count of Questions – 125
  • Maximum Marks – 500
  • Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • GPAT Marking Scheme

Marks per question – Each question will carry 4 marks

Negative marking – One mark will be deducted from the total score for each wrong reaction.

AICTE will release an online trial test or mock test from October onwards for candidates so that they have a clear idea of GPAT Exam Pattern. The candidates can become familiar with the question type and marking scheme. The trial test was supposed to be available once the registration window opens.

Applicants showing up in PG Pharmacy Admission test can download earlier years' inquiry papers of GPAT. The GPAT test papers will help the undergraduates in practicing for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level placement test conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) consistently to choose candidates for offering Pharmacy graduates admission to Masters (M. Pharm) programs.

The exam pattern of GPAT is as follows:

  • Number of Questions: 125 questions
  • Time Duration: 180 Minutes
  • Negative Marking is applicable
  • For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted
  • There will be no breaks during the exam
