IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.
GPAT is the most renowned entrance exam for M.Pharm courses all over India. The GPAT Exam is conducted for the best schools M.Pharm crosswise over India. The online exam is conducted by the AICTE consistently in the month of January and the admission round would happen from the month of January to April. The academic sessions begin in the months of July-Aug. GPAT concentrates on technical questions (Pharmaceutics, Cology, Cognosy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis and so forth). A few students have completed the paper in a time duration of fewer than 3 hours, having an opportunity to check their answers The Questions were from sections like Ceutics, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Cognosy, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Cology and Pharmaceutical Management. The sectional feedback is as follows:
Pharmaceutics: This section can be understood as simple. Like the previous GPATs, it had all single questions and no set-based ones. Approximately 20 questions were asked from this section. The section had 12-14 easy questions which required implementation of basic concepts. In around 15-17 attempts with 90% accuracy would be great.
Cognosy: This area would again be appraised as moderate with many direct questions. There were around 18-20 inquiries from this segment. Out of all inquiry around 13-15 questions, with 90% accuracy would be great.
Pharmaceutical Analysis : This area would again be appraised as simple. There were 3 questions in the light of Statement/Conclusion sort. The area too had single inquiries just and no set-based ones. Out of 12 question around 8-9 questions, with 90% accuracy would be great.
Science ( Medicinal/Organic/Inorganic): This segment was like the previous GPAT. There were 4 structure related questions. The aggregate number of questions were 28-30. The questions going with the structure were of simple to the medium difficulty level. 5-6 questions were of easy to medium difficulty. Around 15-17 questions, with 85-90% precision would be great.
Pharmacology : Around 15 questions were there from this section. The questions were spread over all topics like Pharmacology of Central Nervous System, Pharmacology of Cardiovascular System, Pathophysiology of normal ailments, Endocrine System, Chemotherapy, Principles of Toxicology, Basic Concepts of Pharmacotherapy, Important Disorders of Organs, Systems and their Management, CNS Disorders, Drug Class and so on. This section is the differentiator in the current year's GPAT. On the off chance that you can endeavor around 9-11 inquiries with 85 % accuracy, it would be a decent attempt.
Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence/Pharmaceutical Management/Microbiology: This sections would be considered as simple. There were around 7-10 questions of a Conceptual and General sort from each area. The area too had single questions just and no set-based ones. Out of all inquiry around 6- 8 attempts, with 90% accuracy would be great. Generally speaking a score of around 185 - 195 ought to be adequate to get a confirmation call from best universities. A qualifying score may be around 115 - 120.
