Know about XAT 2019

XAT 2019 is being conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. This exam is conducted every year in the month of January. Though the important notifications related to the XAT exam date are still not out and the result is to be awaited. Keeping the important dates related to XAT 2019 in mind we can expect that the exam details will be out in the month of August. It is expected that the registration of XAT examination will also start in the month of August.

XAT?

The full form of XAT is Xavier Aptitude Test, but this exam is famous in the name of XAT only. It is an MBA entrance examination. This exam is organized by the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).

Courses for different streams are offered by the XLRI. The management courses are as follows:

Human Resource Management
Business Management
Global Business Management
General Management Programme

After CAT it is considered to be the second largest exam which is conducted for MBA / PGDM. This exam is the toughest entrance exam which is conducted for MBA in our country. The exam is conducted at near about 47 centres in all the cities across the whole country.

There are two international centres of XAT which are as follows:

Dubai in UAE
Kathmandu in Nepal

XAT was conducted in offline mode till 2016 (means it was conducted in pen and paper pattern), but in 2017 the decision was taken to start conducting XAT in online mode.
