About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Develop and present design concepts that align with client briefs, site conditions, and project goals
2. Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Vray, 3ds Max, or similar software
3. Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and space planning
4. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
5. Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design, safety standards, and building regulations
6. Handle zoning and permitting processes, ensuring all plans comply with local codes and regulations
7. Prepare and deliver presentations and design proposals to clients and internal teams
8. Conduct design reviews, cost estimations, and quality control assessments
9. Incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in architectural designs
10. Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies
Requirements:
1. Hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
2. Demonstrate proven experience in architectural design and project delivery
3. Show proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural software
4. Understand construction methods, materials, structural systems, and building codes
5. Possess excellent spatial awareness and a keen eye for design, detail, and proportion
6. Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills for client and team interactions
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
8. Apply knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards
9. Collaborate effectively with a team and apply a problem-solving approach
10. Hold architectural licensure or show progress toward registration
