About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/Zoho/ERP etc.)
2. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
3. Reconcile GST input and output taxes monthly
4. Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.)
5. Ensure timely payment of TDS and GST liabilities
6. Manage accounts payable and receivable
7. Assist in statutory audits and respond to queries related to tax matters
8. Bank reconciliations and vendor payment reconciliations
9. Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
10. Liaise with tax consultants and government authorities when required
