About the Job
Join our content team and help us create high-performing Reels, Shorts, and YouTube videos! We’re looking for a full-time video editor who’s a pro at turning raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form content and polished YouTube videos. If you understand what hooks viewers and keeps them watching till the end, we want you.Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit & Enhance Short-Form Videos (Reels/Shorts)
a. Turn raw footage into engaging, on-brand videos
b. Add transitions, sound effects, captions, and music
c. Format videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
2. Edit Long-Form YouTube Videos
a. Clean and professional editing of talking-head, vlog, or tutorial-style videos
b. Add intros, transitions, jump cuts, and background music
c. Ensure pacing, sound, and visuals hold viewer's attention throughout
d. Apply branding (logo animations, lower thirds, end screens, etc.)
3. Repurpose Content for Multiple Platforms
a. Break long videos into short, snackable clips
b. Resize for platform-specific formats (9:16, 16:9, etc.)
c. (Bonus) Add subtitles for accessibility and retention
4. Organize & Manage Video Assets
a. Sort, name, and archive footage and edits properly
b. Keep content calendar updated with deadlines and deliverables
c. Back up content to avoid data loss
