About the Job
Job summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and integration of avionics systems for our rockets and satellites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, embedded systems, and aerospace standards.
Key responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement avionics systems including communication, navigation, and control systems.
2. Integrate software, electronics, and hardware components for flight systems.
3. Conduct testing, validation, and verification of avionics systems to ensure performance and safety.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and operations.
5. Collaborate with mechanical, propulsion, and software teams.
6. Prepare technical documentation and reports.
7. Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and quality standards.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of avionics systems, embedded systems, and signal processing.
Experience with PCB design, microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols.
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (DO-160, MIL-STD, etc.).
Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, Altium Designer, or similar.
