About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Develop robust backend applications using Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js)
2. Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems
3. Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and related services
4. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
5. Automate infrastructure provisioning (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred)
6. Implement containerization using Docker
7. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and scalability
8. Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and the Tech Lead to deliver end-to-end solutions
9. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
Requirements:
1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
2. Have a minimum of 1 year of professional backend development experience
3. Demonstrate proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
4. Possess strong AWS experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, etc
5. Understand containerization concepts with experience in Docker
6. Use CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
7. Work with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
8. Have a solid understanding of REST APIs and web security principles
9. Be experienced with both relational and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL
10. Follow Git version control workflows
11. Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
12. Communicate effectively and collaborate in a team
13. Manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST (Monday to Saturday)
