About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Develop, optimise, and validate biochemical assays based on enzymatic reactions and metabolic pathways
2. Analyse metabolic and enzymatic data from electrochemical detection platforms
3. Collaborate with the R\&D team to integrate biochemical processes with microfluidic devices
4. Conduct literature reviews and apply biochemical knowledge to enhance assay design
5. Maintain accurate laboratory records and contribute to scientific reports
6. Support troubleshooting of biochemical protocols and interpret experimental data
Qualifications:
1. Hold a master’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related life sciences field
2. Possess strong knowledge of enzymes, enzyme kinetics, and metabolic pathways
3. Demonstrate hands-on experience with biochemical assays and analytical techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Have experience in electrochemical biosensing or bioassay development
2. Show familiarity with microfluidics or point-of-care diagnostic systems
3. Gain exposure to interdisciplinary research environments
Skills:
1. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2. Work collaboratively in a research team
3. Demonstrate proficiency in experimental design and data analysis
4. Communicate scientific findings effectively (both written and verbal)
