About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
2. Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
3. Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc. offering a price and negotiating around it.
4. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within an organization and meet them.
5. Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
6. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
7. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
8. Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that will lead to an increase in sales.
9. Research and build relationships with new clients by finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organizations and contacting the clients.
10. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these responsibilities.
