About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented '2D Mechanical CAD Designer' to join our team. It is important that the designer has some experience working with machine design and is able to take up machine design work immediately with minimal training. The designer would work closely with the senior leadership at the company to achieve a high-quality work output. The Designer should be self-motivated and accountable for working with various internal agencies to complete the design work with high quality and on time.Key responsibilities:
1. Design Development: Create 3D models and detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software.
2. Product Design: Develop accurate and comprehensive mechanical designs for various products, equipment, and components.
3. Drafting and Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, assembly layouts, and detailed part drawings to communicate design specifications, dimensions, and tolerances for manufacturing and construction purposes.
4. Collaborative Work: Collaborate and gather project requirements, discuss design feasibility, and incorporate feedback into the design process.
5. Design Modifications: Review and modify existing designs to enhance functionality, optimize performance, or address design issues as necessary.
