About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Create detailed drawings for joinery, fit-out, and interiors
2. Design and prepare 2D plans and shop drawings specifically for joinery and interior fit-out
3. Liaise with clients, project managers, and factory staff
4. Prepare job orders with corresponding material lists
5. Draft and process jobs for production
6. Prepare drawings as instructed by the design team and HOD
7. Visit sites for final measurements before starting drawings
8. Work with the joinery drafting team to manage workload and meet deadlines
9. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project scope
10. Suggest improvements for productivity through internal templates and procedures
11. Review architectural and shop drawings, specifications, and samples to identify design inconsistencies
12. Perform additional duties as required
13. Complete assigned tasks within agreed or allocated time
Requirements:
1. Show strong attention to detail
2. Possess knowledge of materials and hardware used in carpentry
3. Demonstrate retail experience in joinery drafting, detailing, setting out, and creating cutting lists
4. Work independently or within a project team as a self-starter
5. Be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Doha before starting work (preferred)
6. Hold a bachelor's degree (preferred)
