About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Execute tasks from initial 3D to 2D drawings, including setup planning in liaison with the design engineering team
2. Identify and resolve design challenges related to mould design and part modelling
3. Perform 3D to 2D modelling tasks for mould design, modification, and part modelling
4. Handle drafting tasks related to moulds, shells, FRP, and panel drawings
5. Interpret engineering drawings and apply relevant standards accurately
6. Arrange work reviews with the reporting person for feedback and approval
7. Understand composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and in-house tooling variants
8. Coordinate effectively with design and other departments within the company
9. Interpret structural documents to select the correct process, tooling, and panel detailing
10. Work across multiple mould tasks while identifying and implementing optimization opportunities
11. Analyse surfaces to propose design tweaks or modifications for time and cost savings
12. Support departmental communication and collaboration by sharing BOMs, material specifications, milestone updates, design changes, and MRB inputs
