About the Job
Job Overview:We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Sales Assistant to join our fast-growing Salesforce practice. You will be responsible for outreach, lead qualification (marketing qualified lead to sales qualified lead), managing inbound and outbound inquiries, and supporting field sales in converting leads into opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct outbound prospecting via strategic & directional cold outreach, emails, LinkedIn, and campaigns
2. Respond to and qualify inbound leads from marketing efforts and Salesforce AppExchange listings
3. Manage and update CRM (Salesforce) with lead activity, contact details, and communication notes
4. Book qualified meetings for Account Managers, Sales or Solution Consultants
5. Collaborate with Marketing to tailor messaging and content to industry verticals
6. Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce products, industry use cases, and partner value proposition
7. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics (outreach, emails, connections, meetings set)
8. Generate regular reports on lead funnel, conversion rates, and opportunity handoffs
9. Gather and share market intelligence, prospect pain points, and competitive insights
Key performance indicators:
1. Sales Outreach span & yield per day
2. Marketing qualified leads per month, Sales Qualified Leads per month
3. Solutioning effectiveness
4. Prospects meetings
5. Lead to opportunity conversion rate
6. Opportunity pipeline value sourced
7. CRM hygiene and data accuracy
8. Average lead response time
Desired skill set:
1. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
2. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus
3. Experience with SaaS/Cloud product selling, ideally in CRM, ERP, or related domains
4. Ability to understand and articulate business processes and how Salesforce solves them
5. High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build rapport quickly
6. Self-driven and target-oriented
7. Exposure to Salesforce industry verticals (e.g., manufacturing, BFSI, retail, public sector) is a plus
8. Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
