About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Receive all purchase orders and ensure the purchase of materials according to the terms of the purchase order
2. Ensure timely delivery of materials and documentation consistent with the purchase order
3. Update all information in the system with latest delivery updates
4. Document all outgoing materials rejected and excess received properly
5. Ensure periodical stock verification
6. Implement safety precautions and regulations for the safety of the personnel
7. Ensure the safety of raw materials in stores
8. Arrange timely scrap disposal from store's custody
9. Conduct perpetual verification and its documentation for five items every day
10. Coordinate with other departments for the easy flow of materials
11. Comply with physical inventory once in 6 months
12. Update and review environmental aspects and impacts and conducta significant impact study
13. Reconcile and update the monthly stock
14. Manage material packing and dispatches
Requirements:
1. Possess basic knowledge of computers
2. Hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field
3. Be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and basic computer processing
4. Demonstrate knowledge of computer operating systems
5. Operate and monitor multiple computer systems and peripheral devices concurrently
6. Plan and schedule work priorities to meet deadlines and handle emergencies
7. Show flexibility to work extra hours when required
8. Work in a team with high people orientation
9. Communicate effectively with excellent oral and written skills in English
10. Demonstrate good negotiation and soft skills to handle all types of clients over phone
11. Apply as a fresher with good communication skills from outside the medical industry
12. Show interest if experienced in surgical instrument, medical, or pharma industry and be willing to relocate anywhere in India
