About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. Production Coordination
1. Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of targets.
2. Monitor workflow and production timelines from cutting to finishing.
3. Coordinate with line supervisors to track garment production progress.
4. Resolve production delays by liaising with concerned departments.
B. Quality & Compliance
1. Ensure adherence to quality standards at every stage.
2. Work with the QC team to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
3. Maintain compliance with factory safety and labor standards.
C. Inventory & Material Management
1. Monitor fabric and trims inventory required for production.
2. Coordinate with the purchase team to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
3. Track consumption of materials to avoid wastage and excess inventory.
D. Vendor & Subcontractor Management
1. Coordinate with subcontractors and job workers for the timely delivery of outsourced work (if applicable).
2. Ensure quality standards are met for outsourced items.
E. Documentation & Reporting
1. Maintain production records, order status sheets, and delivery timelines.
2. Prepare and submit daily/weekly production reports to management.
F. Cost Control & Efficiency
1. Identify areas of operational inefficiency and propose improvements.
2. Monitor labor productivity and machine utilization.
3. Support lean manufacturing practices wherever applicable.
