Key Responsibilities:A. Guest services:
1. Ensure a welcoming and efficient check-in/check-out process
2. Implement guest satisfaction measures and handle escalated guest issues
B. Staff management:
1. Provide leadership, motivation, and development for front office staff
2. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate policies, procedures, and expectations
C. Operations management:
1. Oversee room reservations, room allocations, and efficient use of hotel property management systems
2. Ensure accurate guest billing and that all financial procedures are followed
D. Collaboration with other departments:
1. Communicate guest preferences or issues to other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
E. Financial management:
1. Manage the front office budget and expenses
2. Handle billing discrepancies and manage cash handling procedures
F. Policy implementation:
1. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security standards
2. Implement and enforce brand standards and service protocols
Qualifications:
1. Office administration and front office management skills
2. Customer satisfaction and customer service skills
3. Strong communication skills
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
5. Attention to detail and organizational skills
6. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
7. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field
