About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Develop a conservation education outreach strategy for Wildlife SOS
2. Establish and support school conservation clubs in Mumbai
3. Develop and implement a monitoring programme to evaluate the impacts of the education programme.
4. Assist with the development and production of educational materials.
5. Work with school conservation clubs to promote awareness of conservation through field trips, exchange visits, discussion groups, art competitions, essay writing, quizzes, and debates, etc.
6. Work with school conservation clubs to encourage active participation in conservation, such as the establishment of tree nurseries and the planting of trees etc.
7. Raising awareness of environmental and wildlife conservation issues
8. Preparing and distributing Wildlife SOS’s conservation materials and displays
9. Liaising with schools and other local organisations
10. Develop an understanding and awareness of Wildlife SOS's work.
11. Make presentations and calls, and explain the organization’s work to members of the public clearly and interestingly.
12. Meet set income targets by signing paid supporters and individual donors for Wildlife SOS. Develop and manage long-term relationships with donors and upgrade them up the donor pyramid.
13. To aid the Fundraising and volunteering team. To influence donors to donate or sponsor animals or provide volunteer services by following a prepared script to give the organization’s reference information.
14. To ensure that fundraising and resource mobilization information is up to date.
15. Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors in a database.
16. Motivate and facilitate supporters to maximize the funds they raise.
17. Inspire new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters.
18. Any other activities or assignments as requested by the Management.
19. Going for appointments.
20. Assisting during stalls.
21. Generating income via fundraising activities and volunteering programs
22. Delivering education-based presentations to schools for conservation engagement
23. Organize outreach programmes on environmentally significant days.
