About the Job
As a Fashion Designer at Trishnaé, you will work collaboratively to bring original design ideas to life from concept to execution. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Key responsibilities:
A. Conceptualising and Sketching:
1. Develop original designs in line with seasonal themes and brand ethos.
2. Collaborate closely with the Founder to interpret and translate her creative direction, concepts, and inspirations into tangible designs.
3. Create both digital and hand-drawn sketches.
B. Tech Pack Development:
1. Create detailed tech packs with specifications, measurements, and material details.
2. Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure clarity in construction.
C. Moodboarding and Trend Research:
1. Build moodboards, colour palettes, and inspiration decks.
2. Research silhouettes, fabrics, and trends that resonate with Trishnaé’s target audience.
D. Sampling and Execution:
1. Assist in developing sampling specifications and follow up with the tailoring teams.
2. Participate in feedback cycles for fittings, refinements, and finish improvements.
E. Brand Alignment and Communication:
1. Ensure designs reflect Trishnaé’s inclusive and comfort-first philosophy.
2. Present ideas clearly through sketches, references, or verbal design logic.
F. Support with Custom Projects:
1. Contribute to small-batch and limited-edition capsule collections.
2. Integrate traditional techniques (e.g., block print, hand embroidery) into modern garments.
