About the Job
We’re seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Specialist to expand our digital outreach, build community, and attract donors and volunteers through compelling content and engagement.Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
2. Create captivating visuals, short videos, reels, infographics, and written posts.
3. Manage day-to-day posting, respond to audience messages and comments, and monitor engagement.
4. Collaborate with team to produce student story content—including interviews, testimonials, and photos.
5. Track social analytics; deliver monthly performance reports and optimize based on insights.
6. Stay updated on social media trends and implement best practices for maximum reach.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
2. 1 year of experience managing social media for organizations or NGOs.
3. Strong skills in graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) and familiarity with video editing apps.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Hindi or local Indian languages a plus.
5. Passion for education, nonprofit impact, and storytelling.
6. Highly organized, proactive, creative thinker, and deadline-driven.
