Senior PHP Developer Job in Delhi, Noida at Prarang

About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-performing web and Android applications using Core PHP / Laravel and native/hybrid Android development tools.
2. Build reusable modules and components for performance-optimized systems.
3. Work in an agile and iterative development environment- actively involved in testing, debugging, and production support.
4. Stay updated with the latest trends in web & mobile development, AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., using tools like GitHub Co-pilot, Windsurf), and integrate them into the development cycle.
5. Ensure secure coding practices and build applications that are robust, secure, and scalable.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver solutions aligned with project timelines and goals.

Skills:
1. Strong experience in PHP development (Core PHP or Laravel) with a clear understanding of MVC architecture is essential.
2. Good command over MySQL/SQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
3. Proven experience in native Android development (Java/Kotlin) or hybrid frameworks (React Native).
4. Sound knowledge of REST APIs, database schema design, and app performance optimization.
5. Exposure to AI coding assistant tools (like Co-Pilot, windsurf, etc.) to speed up development, code suggestions, and debugging.
6. Ability to write clean, modular code and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and reusable standards.
7. Have written and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated deployment scripts.
8. Understanding of UI/UX standards, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.
9. Knowledge of front-end techs like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, or React is a plus.
10. Understanding of security concepts and best practices for mobile and web apps.
11. Knowledge of code versioning tools, preferably GIT.
12. Experience in third-party systems integration and knowledge on payment gateway integration API’s like Authorize.net, Stripe, PayPal, etc.
13. Basic understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and app deployment workflows.
14. Experience in integrating AI tools or models into applications
15. Quick learner, critical thinker, and creative problem solver.
16. Strong communication and collaboration skills- works well in a team setting.
17. Educational qualifications: MCA/BTech/BCA or equivalent qualification in computer science or related field.
18. Experience: Proven experience in developing web applications using PHP/MySQL/SQL/Angular.
