About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities to improve rankings and traffic
2. Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headings, content, internal linking, and image alt text
3. Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate with teams to fix crawl issues, site speed, indexing, and mobile usability
4. Optimize product listings, category pages, and blog content for better search visibility and relevance
5. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
6. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
7. Prepare regular performance reports and share actionable insights to improve SEO KPIs like organic traffic, rankings, and conversions
8. Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices
9. Build a network of backlinks and PR sites, understand their requirements, and promote the business across those platforms
10. Manage and track budget utilization for link building
Requirements:
1. Possess 0-1 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in the eCommerce domain
2. Demonstrate strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
3. Be proficient in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Moz
4. Apply an analytical mindset to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations
5. Show excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
