About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Receive regular training to understand and learn CNC machine operations as per the training programme
2. Assist with and learn to load and unload parts, identifying appropriate tooling, collets, and fixtures
3. Assist with and learn programming and setup of CNC equipment for new products and functions
4. Assist with and learn how to change CNC machine tooling
5. Observe machine operations and assist in verifying machine settings and detecting malfunctions using precision instruments like micrometers and dial calipers
6. Learn to adjust machine controls, including part processing parameters
7. Inspect tools for sharpness and usability, perform deburring, and report issues to the line manager
8. Assist with and learn to perform “first piece inspection” using appropriate measuring tools
9. Assist with and learn to post-edit CNC programs to fine-tune processes for optimal performance
