About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Edit raw footage into high-quality finished videos based on briefs and scripts
2. Create cuts for different platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and Reels
3. Implement smooth transitions, clean cuts, proper pacing, rhythm, and audio sync
4. Add titles, graphics, effects, and subtitles when required
5. Understand the emotional intent of each video and reflect it in the edit
6. Sync sound accurately, clean up audio, and add music or SFX for impact
7. Choose background music that aligns with the brand tone or project emotion
8. Perform basic to advanced color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency
9. Maintain high visual standards across all projects
10. Collaborate closely with the creative director, DOP, stylists, or clients to incorporate feedback
11. Deliver edits within timelines while maintaining quality
12. Organize files, backup footage, and maintain project archives
13. Export videos in required formats for various platforms
14. Suggest new formats, ideas, or cuts to elevate storytelling
15. Stay updated with current trends and editing styles
Note: 1st month of the job will be considered as an internship/ probation period with a minimal pay (10,000/month will be the minimum pay for the probation period) and a 1-month minimum notice period required.
