Key responsibilities:1. Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates for websites
2. Write clean, efficient code and troubleshoot technical issues during the development and post-launch phases
3. Integrate third-party tools and APIs to enhance website functionality and user experience
4. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and updates to improve development processes
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and meet deadlines
6. Optimize website performance and implement security measures
7. Assist in website migration, deployment, and maintenance activities
8. Mentor and guide junior developers to support team skill development
Requirements:
1. Demonstrate proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation
2. Show proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
3. Apply knowledge of responsive design principles and front-end frameworks
4. Use Git or other version control systems effectively
5. Exhibit strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
6. Understand and apply web security best practices
7. Communicate clearly and collaborate well with teams
8. Present a portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects and code samples
9. Bring familiarity with other content management systems (CMS) as an added advantage
10. Possess required technical skills relevant to WordPress development
