There are 3 steps of counseling procedure of IIT JAM.
Check out the counseling procedure mentioned below:
1.Registration
The Registration includes filling the application form and completing all the necessary details. Students are required to fill the necessary details which are needed and they must upload their scanned photograph and signature in the required space.
2.Acceptance or Rejection of Choices
Once the students get the offer letter of admission, they will have to access the website and choose the following options- “Accept and Upgrade” “Accept and Freeze”, or “Reject and Quit”. Candidates have to pay the seat booking fee online after selecting the college.
3.Reporting at Allotted Center
Students have to report directly to the allotted college on further admission proceedings.
The following list of documents are required in counseling session:
- 10+ 2 mark sheets from the recognized university of the board
- Graduate degree course certificate
- Category and Nationality certificate
- Admit card of JAM score.
