IISc Bangalore lays out the IIT JAM eligibility requirements 2023 for those who want to take the test. To apply for the IIT JAM 2023 as specified in the eligibility requirements, candidates must input information such as qualifying exam, marks, age restriction, and country. Before registering for the test, students must check and confirm that they meet the requirements for the IIT JAM 2023. Candidates shall be regarded as ineligible and their applications as invalid if they are found to have not met the eligibility requirements
1.Bachelor's degree in any stream
Candidates appearing for IIT JAM exam must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
2. At least 55% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC students
The minimum percentage required for the exam is 55% for general category although there is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates, they need to have at least 50% marks in graduation.
3. Foreign National and Indian national both are eligible to apply.
All the candidate's whether a foreign nationality or Indian nationality can apply for this exam.
4.No restriction in the upper age limit for IIT JAM.
There is no age limit for JAM exam, as per the rules stated by conducting body, there is no restriction in the upper age limit for IIT JAM exam.
5. Final year students can also apply
All the students who are currently in final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for this exam provided they submit the proof of passing with the required document by the time counseling process starts.

Graduates of any reputable university are eligible to apply for the IIT JAM 2023. Also eligible to apply are those who are in their last year or semester of graduation; if chosen, they must submit their diploma by September 1, 2023.
A student may take the IIT JAM twice. Both attempts are one year past graduation, with the first one being in its last year.
There is no upper age limit for taking the IIT JAM 2023 exam.
The eligibility requirements stipulate that applicants must have studied mathematics at the Class 12 level for the bulk of the courses for which admission is available through IIT JAM.
